Veronica Barassi
An anthropologist with a PhD in social anthropology from Goldsmiths, University of London, Veronica Barassi is Full Professor of Media and Communication Studies at the University of St. Gallen, where she holds the Chair of Media and Culture. Her research covers responsible AI, human rights and data privacy: her Child | Data | Citizen project led to a book with MIT Press (2020), and The Human Error Project examines AI errors. Her TED Talk on children’s data has over two million views.
