Vision

Rome 20262 — 4 DecemberExplore the programme

Staying human. Building peace.

Peace in the age of artificial intelligence depends far more on us than on the machines we build. It depends on the quality of attention, judgement and care we bring to the technologies we create.

The 20th edition of the Summit will bring together diverse perspectives around one shared question: how do we keep the human person at the centre of the choices that will shape our future?

This year, the World Summit of Nobel Laureates for Peace will provide a global platform for dialogue on artificial intelligence. Throughout the Summit, Nobel Peace Laureates, AI pioneers, scientists, philosophers, policymakers, civil society representatives and young people will explore how we can shape trustworthy AI that upholds human dignity, strengthens democratic resilience and contributes to sustainable peace.

“Leading by Example”, the Summit’s official youth education programme, remains one of its core components. This year it brings together hundreds of participants from around the world to offer them the opportunity to learn from Nobel Peace Laureates and other distinguished speakers. Summit Declarations

The Summit will conclude with the presentation of two final declarations.

The first will be created by Nobel Peace Laureates, offering a summary of the Summit’s key discussions and a call to action featuring concrete ideas and proposals.

The second will be jointly prepared by participants in the youth programme, “Leading by Example”.

Both declarations will express a shared commitment to keeping the human person at the centre of decisions that shape our future.
